Lil Greens - Warwick

Took my mum for birthday meal last minute and even after the new year celebrations staff went above and beyond accommodate Natalie got my mum her favourite drink for her birthday and the two boys Ben and Ahmed also so attentive couldn’t of asked for nicer staff! Have to just big them up massively cause they were also lovely and made us feel special so if you’re looking for somewhere with lovely food and nice staff then please go here !!! Especially when nat Ben and Ahmed are working you’re in for a good night !! Thank you guys xxx

I am disappointed with the recent changes at Lil Greens. A group of fifteen of us had dinner at another restaurant in Kenilworth on December 15th for our Christmas work party, and then stopped by Lil Greens for drinks as we did last year. However, we were turned away by a young lady at the door, along with the four people in front of us. It seems that now you can only enter if you plan to eat, even though the place didn't seem too crowded. It was a loss for Lil Greens, as we ended up spending the rest of the night at the Almanack, where they were happy to accommodate us and serve us.

I visited this restaurant for a mid-afternoon snack. It was busy, but there were plenty of staff. The staff were okay, but they seemed inexperienced. One table complained about the food, and another about the temperature of the wine. There was not much interaction with customers about these issues. There were some uncleared tables and stock left out near the toilets and bar, which made it feel disorganized or like we were there before the actual shift started. However, I really enjoyed the snacks we had, but I would be cautious about ordering larger meals if the restaurant is busy based on my observations.

Went in for a lunchtime snack. We bought a drink and asked for a packet of crisps, they had sold out of every flavour, they had one packet of dry roasted nuts left. We ordered food, my husband had a burger and chips, I ordered a savoury pancakes and sweet potato fries, the meal went round the room several times before it was delivered to our table, I asked for mayonnaise, was given an empty bottle, so I asked for another, was given a small pot of mayonnaise that was runny and vinegary, so I presumed it was rinsed out of the empty bottle. My savoury pancakes were sweet, with egg and tomato on, it should have had some toasted breadcrumbs on, but it tasted like scrapings from the deep fat fryer. I would have complained if anyone had come round and asked how our food was, but they didn’t, and were quite rude when we went to pay, we simply went to the bar and asked to pay, didn’t complain, but the staff had no friendliness or smiles, or asked if we enjoyed our food. All in all a miserable experience, will not go there again.
