Restaurant bewertenWe wanted to buy some local honey and olive oil to take away as we were leaving Corsica. We sampled some of the olive oil at a restaurant and we were directed here to buy some to take away. Not being able to speak much French was no problem at all. Once they realised we were tourists all the locals were happy to help translate and give us recommendations with the help of Google translating some words for us.We ended up spending an hour chatting to the locals and having a glass of wine with them. It was the most wonderful experience and it makes you wish there were more places like this. The next morning as we were buying our breakfast the people from the night before were giving us a big wave in the street.
What a great place to enjoy typical Coriscan wine, meat, cheese and olives. you name it, the produce and service was fantastic. It was a breath of fresh air being away from the tourists. Whilst this place might not be on the tourist map, Venaco and Cav a Vins have a real charm and are well worth a visit. We sat outside the winery/gourmet deli overlooking the Corsican hills as the sunlight faded and it was an incredible experience. A very memorable evening in Corisca.
2 sandwiches, 2 33 cl bottle mazes and a juice. 21.50 €. Since there are three bars/restaurant in the country? .
I've walked passed Gigi's for awhile - it was a $1 iced coffee that lured me in and boy am I glad it did!__This place has a very fresh and delicious salad
Surprisingly goodYou see very similar types of salad bar/restaurant cafes all over the city, but at Gigi's you can get a huge salad for only $10.
