Swiss Chalet - Vaughan

Swiss Chalet is a franchise that must work on its consistency. We are from Nova Scotia and used to live in Calgary and before that, Ottawa. When you go to a Swiss chalet and order the chicken, you know just what you will get. Great SC taste, perfectly cooked with their signature sauce. (I NEVER ask for the other new sauces that they offer -- Swiss chalet is ALL about the spices and the sauce). Service was fast and friendly. Coupons kept the prices in check. the pecan pie dessert is very good.

We waited two hours for our delivery order. When the food arrived, it was soggy and cold and just not right. Would not order from this restaurant again.

We waited a very long time for the food which was just horrible and the service wasn't good either , even though it was my bday I did not enjoy

Service friendly. Nice atmosphere. Staff accommodating. Better than average Swiss Chalet restaurant. Clean. Have been coming here for years. CAA coupons accepted. Love the lemon pie. Tables spaced far apart to enjoy.

The last time we were here they brought us the salad with the plastic bag on my wife plate. I am not even sure it was washed. The staff seem disinterested and the place seems tired. The chicken did not taste very good. It has little flavour and it felt like they pumped it full of chemicals to fatten it up sooner as opposed to later. the fries are fine. The sauce tasted like it was mostly water. There are lots of Portuguese restaurants with take out chicken and rice or potatoes that are much better and cheaper. Save your money and taste buds and go to one those restaurants. Swiss Chalet is pretty much fast food food court quality of food.
