Bénédictine - Val-d'Or

Went for breakfast Sept 13th. I had eggs Benedict, which I would suggest are very good. I had asked for cheddar, but didn’t realize until ,y 3rd bite that it was the standard option of Swiss Cheese. A little too late to ask for another order as my wife was already eating her breakfast. It tasted okay, but I scraped the Swiss cheese off as I don’t care for it, so although I checked the bill to see the waitress had ordered cheddar, I didn’t love my order. My wife had eggs with baloney, and said it was good. The coffee is also good. Service is good, especially given the place is bustling.

Been there few time in the last week because it's one of the only place in town to have a brunch everyday. Good price vs food quantity-quality. Huge plate. Choice of salty or sweet meal. Pancakes, crepes, waffles, bacon and eggs etc... Smoothies of the day. I dont think they have specialize coffee.

Plates were quite big and not too expensive. Good service. Only thing is they charge for a take away box, I've work over 12years in restaurants and none of them were charging to bring your leftovers. I'm not even sure it's a legal thing

Been there twice during my stay, Go early because its very popular and you will have to wait outside. The food is delicious and the service is great. A must go if you are in the region.

I had a great visit here and a very delicious blueberry crepe. Vicky my waitress was awesome in servive and interpreting for me.I seen other dishes go by and there is a lot of food.The crepe was so large and stuffed with berries and creme I could not eat all of it for being full.If in Val D'or looking for early breakfast at a very affordable price tbis is the place.
