Hog's Breath - TUGGERAH

My friend and I decided to have lunch at the Hog's Breath at Westfield Tuggerah as we have been there before - and they have a reasonable lunch menu. My friend ordered the fish & chips and I chose the beef wrap with chicory bbq sauce, lettuce, cheese and coleslaw which looked very tasty in the picture. I received a wrap and all I could initially see and taste was coleslaw. I then saw something black which turned out to be a piece of meat. I pulled out more pieces of black hard meat and it sat on the side of the board it was served on. I called over the waitress and showed her the black pieces of my board which she took away. Next thing another waitress came over carrying the board - accompanied by the first waitress and said -"what's wrong with this? " I showed the picture on the menu and asked if they looked the same"? She said "these look a bit black!" I was then asked if I wanted another one or something else - but didn't want anything and went hungry. My friend didn't finish her meal but needed to go to the Ladies. She came out and grabbed her anti-bacterial hand wash saying she has never seen such disgusting toilets. Paper all over the floor - including a piece of sanitary backing paper, wee on the floor - plus a blocked toilet and they were also filthy. She said if the toilets are that filthy - what's the kitchen like? We asked to speak with the Manager Jarred and filled him in with what we experienced. He apologised and didn't charge my friend for her lunch but sadly will never ever go back there.

Hummmm the service has definitely dropped. We walked in and were asked " What table were you. What did you have?" . Ummm, we would like to eat. Oops sorry. Sat down and given menus. Chose The Blackened Prime Rib and the Lite Steak with Garlic Mushrooms. Wasn't asked about sauces as the waitress ran off. Got a couple of glasses of wines but no water. Meals arrived and were told to enjoy our meal. "Excuse me, could we please have some cutlery". Meal was OK but the steak was not that hot. Staff need to give some TLC and remember basic hospitality skills.

I had lunch there yesterday's & I got a chicken salad & it was a couple of strips of chicken on some lettuce for $16.90 I was not happy, I've had terrible experiences in the past but keep giving them another chance as time goes on, never again, food is rubbish & over priced

Kids food is cold dry and has no flavour then mains came out with that taste you get from being microwaved and was steaming hot like the same thing the staff member was more interested in talking with her friends that were in there while she was taking the order for the 3 of us who knew exactly what we wanted i had to repeat myself a number of times and then my meal was missing the one and only extra i added

Wouldn't recommend this restaurant. Food was disappointing and, although we were the first ones using our table for the day, it was sticky and gross.Yes my hubbys steak was nice enough but the rest of the meal was really quite ordinary. The chips were cold. The coke was flat. The bill was over $70 for 2 of us with one course and a drink each. Totally not worth it.
