Sailo's - Taree

Very good dinner here on Saturday night it was bust but the staff were friendly and efficient . The meals were large and good value for money.

Sailo's at the Taree Aquatic club has long been a favourite of mine. Located right on the Manning River this restaurant is way above the standard one would expect in Taree. They have a good range of starters,steaks & pasta but the seafood is sensational.Definitely worth a diversion off the main highway which now bypasses town.

We love this place as a couple, family or with friends. Always welcoming and great good. Highly recommend to anyone.

I often meet friends for lunch here.I always book to get a table close to the window, for the view.Meals are large and delicious. Meals at lunch come with salad and chips. Over the years I've had the chicken snitzel in many combinations. My favourite is the mushroom sauce variety.The prawn cutlets are always delicious, and I can recommend.The duck spring rolls I didn't enjoy - but you might like.Last weekend I had a garlic prawn cesear salad - it was excellent, highly recommend.We always finish our meal with a coffee, hot chocolate or pot of tea they come with a mint chocolate.The best thing is the wonderful service of the fabulous staff, they are always happy and smiling no matter how busy they are.Did I mention the view? Oh wow simply the best view in town of the beautiful river, river foreshore, and the sailing boats on the mighty Manning River.You have to visit this awesome club with the spectacular views, if not for a meal call in simply for a drink.

I travel across from PERTH to Brisbane each year and one of my favorite stops is this club. The Sailos Restaurant offers friendly service. Very tasty ribs. Garlic prawns and many other dishes. For me the Ribs are the winner. Should you be driving through Taree stop in.
