Lighthouse Picnics - Stockton-on-Tees

The Ferryland Picnics are DELICIOUS! We are SO glad we drove the extra miles to see the lighthouse and have a picnic. Be sure to order the day before from their website. The staff are very friendly and the food is great!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options too.

Omg this was the most amazing experience! The food, location and experience....all incredible! I had the veggie sandwich and my husband had the chicken curry. Both exceptional! You pick your picnic up inside the lighthouse. They also have cookies there so bring cash. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They even had blankets! It is about a 10min easy hike from parking lot in medow to lighthouse. A must do experience!

The hike was lovely, the food was excellent, the view was spectacular, the hosts were the best. You will not be disappointed with a few hours spent here.

Great food! We tried the ham brie and veggie sandwiches. The bread was fantastic. They aren’t serving at the lighthouse in 2022 but the pickup was seamless and there were spots on the way to the lighthouse or at the lighthouse grounds to eat. Wishing I could get a lunch like this regularly!

Very disappointed. Picked up our lunch in a parking lot. Sandwiches and dessert were good. Tried to see the lighthouse. Road was open halfway by car. Came to a gated barrier and sign that read Lighthouse closed. It was a 3 hour waste of time.
