Restaurant bewertenPlace is nice and roomy. Friendly staff, delicious food. Had the ribs and were delicious, nicely cooked! wish they had a hotter sauce available. The fries were yummy yummy! Clean bathrooms.
Stop at this place for a late lunch/early dinner and we were pleasantly surprised. We started with the Maple Bourbon Bacon Sticks...and let me tell you it was to die for. The bacon was fresh, crispy and oh so tasty. We had to order an extra order. The burnt ends melted in your mouth. The meat was cooked to perfection and so tender you did not need a knife to cut. The Jack and Dill was by far the best meal on the table. Each bite was tastier ten the one before. We ended the meal with homemade bread pudding. I am not a fan of bread pudding, but, I must say it was rich and creamy and tasteful. Our server Stephanie was the bomb! Thank you Stephanie for treating us like old friends. If you are in the area and want great great Barbecue stop By this establishment and see Stephanie. Lastly, if you are a VETERAN and you go on Monday before 4pm you will receive 50% off!!! That truly impressed me.
I love me some Jimmy Bear's BBQ. My personal favorite is to start with the cheese sticks. I don't know why I tried the fried green-beans. I have had fried green-beans enough other places to know that I DO NOT like them. My daughter was with us and ordered them; they looked really good and so I tried them. I will forever ONLY eat fried green-beans at Jimmy Bear's. I have tried several other items and keep coming back to the St. Louis style ribs. The odd thing is that although the cook and smoke on the ribs is a little different each time that the ribs are CONSISTENTLY good. My best part of Jimmy Bear's is my favorite server, Christa! She makes the guest experience awesome at Jimmy Bear's. She was fun, engaging, and entertaining on our first visit. She joked with my family and me, and just made us feel like we were at the home of a friend or family member. I'm sure that the other serving staff is great, but we always ask for Christa.
Wanted to try something new that we do not have in WI and so glad we did. Great food and an even better atmosphere. Such a fun place. Owner came out several times to make sure we were happy. Super nice guy! If in the area we definitely suggest trying it.
Anyplace that has burnt ends automatically gets a 4 out of 5. Burnt ends didn't have a lot of flavor , but they really love their sauces here. Fried pickles were wonderful and cornbread was alright (a little too sweet). Very nice folks, great service and a comedy club inside.
