It was a long time since I had eaten here. My DIL has reserved for Mother's Day. I had my favorite dinner, Eggs in Purgatory. Delicious as always, but the famous Perrecas bread was roasted without butter. Is that a COVID thing? My son had eggs Benedikt, whom he had enjoyed, and our companions had agitated eggs with fennel that they enjoyed, along with another order of eggs in a fennel fire. To Mother's Day it was with an additional tent set up outside. It took time to get our food and settle the bill. No surprise with the crowd of people. Still enjoyed!
The food was amazing. You make a great tomato sauce, we were really impressed. The portions were perfect. Great prices and the service was very good. Will definitely be back.
My first time in Perecca for dinner last night. The staff was wonderful, attentive and very nice. I had the Scallop special with Creamy Risotto and Sauteed Spinach. The scallops were wonderful and the brown sauce was light and tasteful. Had homemade bread and my cocktail was Peach Bellini because I like Prosecco! I will definitely return with friends to try a variety of menu items.
Nice ambiance, good service and of course, generous and tasty food. We ordered chicken marsala and a meat and cheese platter for lunch. Just enough for 2.
