Restaurant bewertenNice on site restaurant as with all hotel restaurants, there’s a special economy at play…although the gap between on site and off site closes depending on where you are. This is a great choice if your staying or down on this end of the plant side district.
Very nice casual atmosphere the server was very gracious and the food was very good two of us ordered the special plates made by a guest chef they were equally delicious! The burger is wonderful also!
We were yearning for brunch on a Friday and discovered that Rhett serves both breakfast and brunch until early afternoon. The food did not disappoint. The loaded grits were delicious, as was the Croque and the avocado toast. I would highly recommend.
Our meal was delicious and our server was attentive and delightful. We will be back!!
While I visited Savannah three times this year, I went to Rhett twice in spring and summer. It was so delicious that I retired on my next visit in December. To say, I was disappointed is an understatement; the food was completely different – not the menu items themselves, but the food itself. My husband and I hire the same thing every time because we loved Rhett so much. When we ordered our usual dishes, the food was terrible; it was gland, cold and dry. I ordered the breakfast meal to come with a “tomato relish” but came with only tomatoes. Our waitress brought an additional side of the sauce for the monetary sandwich my husband had, and said, "King, it's hot." It was completely cold as if it was just pulled out of the refrigerator! Was not common or so. NOT THE RHETT WE REMBER!!! I asked our waitress if they got new articles or changed their menu and they said they were switched from the summer menu. I don't think they've changed much. My only thought is that they may have changed chefs. We loved Rhett – but now we don't go back and don't even risk the chance they changed the menu. Very disappointing; I even make my greetings from her recipe and found her to taste nothing as they did.
