Restaurant bewertenLunch. Hubby had the Speckkäseburger, the Monte Cristo. Both were very good. Eating is order on the counter and juice brought us our food. Very casual. Hubby liked the burger and ate the whole thing, although he said it was too much. I ordered a full Monte Cristo, so I could take half home. It was delicious with the raspberry sauce and another mysterious sauce. Both baskets came with French fries. We'll be back.
Large beer and wine selection. Amazing wings, best burgers in the Temple area. Outdoor seating and dog-friendly!
Brussel sprouts are a must have. Fries were crisp on the outside and perfect on the inside. Friendly staff.
Stopped here for dinner. About the halfway point for our drive from San Antonio. We had the bacon cheeseburger with a side of Thai chili brussel sprouts and the raspberry chicken salad. The cheeseburger was a 1/2 lb patty, with large pieces of tomato onion and lettuce and an ample amount of applewood smoked bacon. The Brussels sprouts were so amazing I could have eaten only them. They had the right amount of heat and sweet and were crispy. The raspberry chicken salad came with the dressing on the side so we could add just as much as we wanted. It had quite a bit of chicken pecans and craisins. Can't wait for my next trip down to Salado to eat here again. We also tried the orange cream Boots soda. We really enjoyed the flavor of it.
This sweet sweet owner, sold me one of her signs from her wall from another brewery! I Told her I have a coonhound at home in Indiana and didn’t have time in Texas to visit the brewery where this sign was made, she made it happen that I could take it home with me. I am so in awe of her hospitality and willingness to put a giant smile on this Hoosier girls face. I can’t say enough about the friendliness of each and every employee we encountered each time we ate and drank here.
