Restaurant bewertenTerrible experience! The room was old and smelly, the staffwas really rude, especially the cleaning ladies, breakfast was poor and nasty (boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt and deli, which was obviously not fresh). Not worth the money.
The little village Jyllinge is what we may say is off the beaten track in Denmark, but if you are visiting by car try this gem of a restaurant. A taxi from Roskilde is also an option. But once you are there, try to get table at the window, and you will have a magnificent view of the Roskilde fjord. The lunch menu is with the typical Danish choices, and you get a selection of beer to go with it. We had the traditional 'stjaerneskud ', and I can only say that the taste of it all was absolutely fine. I can imagine that the other choices are just as good. We had coffee to round it off with and on this late November day we visited, not many other people were there, so quiet and nice for a lunch conversation.
Menu consists of several fish and meat dishes (also a few veg. . Soup was great, main dish very tastefull. Especially the amount of different nice wines to choose, made the diner a enjoyable evening.
The most romantic Restaurant with a beatifull wiev over the sea and Jyllinge harbour. Hidden in a quite place in Jyllinge; Hard to find for not local people.
