Restaurant bewertenWear the feeding bag. would be the first thing they're doing here. If you are really hungry or you are just love to eat, then you have come to the right place. the name that is shared by a famous Flintstone character is connected in one or other way with food and buffets in general area for many years. cook by house southern style, all they can eat at a fair price. at the time my friends family could visit any fred' location and could get out of eating! Today I tend to make it much easier. I don't usually eat on buffets from this ground. but while I was visiting the city, the attempt has overtaken me. I found myself drawn to this unknown, for me, fred’s. I wanted to see if he still gets it. the answer is clear. you need to know there's nothing funny here. it is the equivalent of a Potluck scaler. or any big family meeting where the time honored recipes will appear again year for year. the place is loud. a lot of plumage and bowl. but I don't think that's important... to most. I was good. I've been trying a lot of what I wanted without killing me. so I could give a fair judgment call. many of the old freds standards were for taking there. fried chicken, maische and gravy, greens, bohnen, fish and more. a way out for me was the ham collard green suppe. it was delicious. pretty salty, but very good. the fried chicken had an excellent taste, even if it was a bit chewing gum. you will have real hands with your eating. many finger foods, such as mouthwater ripening and definitiw the fried chicken. I was glad to see that they still have this delicious sweet potato cheese. it was a hit and of course red velvet for dessert. not disappointed. to be done here, I must praise the fred’s crew. they are a hardworking baptism of home-friendly people. to please and they surpass it! martha, the manager, went out of her to help me when I asked for help. they pretend to be part of the family. like a favorite dance or oncle. If you can't go home, go to fred.
Great atmosphere at fred’s. many different foods to choose. we had waitress (maria q and she was very friendly and professional. great to cheap buffet preisen.
Loved those fried green tomatoes and fish. ?Rutabagas...Yes! Okra...Mmmh! Could not get dessert in. Smoke chicken...the best!
I was very excited for my visit to Fred’s as the location is less than 10 minutes from me and the reviews were raving! It was sad to say that my visit was underwhelming. We went on a Monday evening around 6:30pm. Parking can be a little crazy so I don’t know the workaround that. We had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Our waiter was really nice and gave us good service so a star for that!Food was very limited as there is only one food bar and the other is a salad bar. The fried chicken was fried to a crisp! The white meat was dry so I went to go grab a drumstick but the skin was so fried that any more and I felt it would have disintegrated. Mash potatoes were good and the strawberry shortcake with whipped cream was the best I’ve ever had! Another star for that! Everything else was bland and I’m sad I didn’t end up liking most of the food.I would not go back, sadly enough to say. Great service but food is definitely lacking.
When I walked in the establishment you are only required to wear a mask if you want to. When your seated and the waitress get your drink order. They have a place to wash your hands. The waitress and the staff were friendly and nice. They also have gloves to wear when preparing your plate. They have many selections to choice from. OMG.....the food is delicious. The sweet tea is on point and the smoke chicken is a must try. I took my two sons n two nephews and spent $55 including a $10 tip the prices are reasonable. The serves is awesome and I will definitely be going back. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone to enjoy.
