Black Monks - Riga

The restaurant Melnie Mūki Black Monks , located in the heart of Riga 's old town, offered a relaxing atmosphere and very pleasant service. The service was efficient throughout the time spent in the restaurant, i.e. service was provided from arrival to completion, regardless of the number of customers. The selected dishes Grilled chicken breast and Black monks pork burger were excellent.

Probably wouldn't recommend it with so many other restaurants in Riga, the food we got was good but wasn't warm enough for what you would expect a hot dish to be, you waited for a while and still the knife and fork came after the meal, napkins we had to ask for.

The best place where I had dinner in Riga (maybe even in the whole country . We had chicken in walnut sauce and a goats cheese salad. Both were absolutely delicious. The service was also great and prices are adequate considering the area. We also loved the interior. Hope to visit again soon :
