Swallow Inn - Rapid River

We were staying in Kipling and spotted this bar while we made into town and stopped in the Swallow Inn for the Friday night fish fry, there was a wait of 20 minutes so myself and the family had a drink and chatted. The waitress was kind and pleasant, I ordered the broiled whitefish and also the salad bar. The salad bar had a wide variety of different toppings. Good lettuce, and Italian dressing. One can only find real authentic mouth watering whitefish here in the yoop. I picked off bluegill and fries from my dad which was also great. Also I liked the different vintage memorabilia, photos and the atmosphere.

Friendly local pub with really good food. Burgers were great and the staff was friendly.

Friday fish fry is worth the wait! Voted best fish fry for the past several years. Huge, historical building with lots of history!

Food tastes terrible I found plastic in my pizza and I asked for more sauce the server said there was more in there and there wasn't check your food before eating

It's closed and for sale. So don't go here for now. There are other places nearby to go so don't avoid Rapid River.
