Rapid River Dairy Flo

This place has been a summer favorite of mine since childhood. If you're spending the day in this part of Delta County, it's practically a must to stop by. They offer both soft serve and scoopable ice cream. When I spotted the peanut butter Mackinac Island Fudge on the menu, I knew I had to try it. It was absolutely delicious! Just a heads up: they only accept cash, so be prepared if you're passing through.

This place is amazing with its countless options! I've never encountered soft-serve done so well in such a variety of ways. Plus, they offer Dole Whip!

We’ve been coming here every summer for the last 20 years or so. Love it every single time and a summer camping trip isn’t complete without Dairy Flo every night. Haven’t noticed any changes even with different owners, but I did especially appreciate the extra white fencing along Route 2 and the sidewalk, since cars tend not to slow down to the speed limit of 35 and it can get nerve wracking, especially waiting in line with a toddler. I also love the extra seating on the other side of the building. Great service and great ice cream! PS Always carry the Michigan Fried Cherry Pie flavor! So good!
