Restaurant bewertenBeautiful environment to spend a Friday night. Live music, delicious food, warm and comfortable atmosphere but most importantly welcoming and friendly staff from the moment you enter the door. Staff, staff ,staff! I cannot elaborate enough on how accommodating, efficient and wonderful the staff at ISO are. You will be personally catered to, informed of specials, humored, and ensured you are comfortable before your given the complimentary water. My husband and I had the pleasure of dining here tonight, we had a main and a drink and both with exceptional, fast service with talented musicians which set the ambiance for the evening. Prices are of the medium to high range but you get your money's worth in service, food presentation AND taste plus the wood fire, warm lighting and great music envelop your entire evening in warmth and satisfaction. Would definitely return again in the future. Toilets on site, outside seating, inside seating, lounge area, wood fire inside, wheelchair access, group bookings available and live music (ranges on weekends). Reservations recommended however walk ins are fine also, bare in mind peak days and hours as this place is popular for a reason. If unsure give the team a call. Thank you for a wonderful night
Went here twice during our stay, once for a bar op and once for dinner. Sat inside both times, and both times the venue was quiet and peaceful. We got drinks, burger, calamari, and market fish. All were extremely exceptional!
Ice, Ice, Isobar. The Favourite Husband was left at home. Let that be a lesson to all naughty husbands everywhere. So, a girls weekend, in Ragadise. Having been to Raggers multiple times, Isobar remained one of only two restaurants not yet explored. We booked online and chose the lounge for our table. On arrival we were actually seated in the back. By the door to the outdoor area. During a storm. Fun times. To be fair, it didn’t really matter as it was entertaining to watch the outside fire rage out of control warming nobody in particular due to the aforementioned storm. We started with cocktails. A French Martini, a Tropical Surf and a virgin Pina Colada. These were delightful but not life changing. I had previously had the best **** Mary of my life, ever, in the world, here; maybe I should have had another of those. I highly recommend them. Three mains were ordered and we were impressed with what was served. The tuna steak was exceptionally good. Perfectly seared, beautifully presented and generous. The mushroom and ricotta ravioli small plate came as a main which again was a good sized portion. It was lacking a sauce and a little oily, but the flavours were there. Our other dish was the special; spaghetti bolognaise and truffle and Parmesan. The flavour was nice, the meat was a bit lumpy, the truffle was a kind of cream sauce which seemed unnecessary. But it was ok. The additional gin and tonic tasted strange, like soda water instead of tonic but we were assured it was tonic. The staff were all super friendly. Love the wood burner in the front restaurant. It was a nice vibe. It was busy, and vibrant and cosy on a wet and windy night. Will absolutely be coming back. And if he behaves, I may even bring the Favourite Husband next time.
I was craving a salad and after looking at menus from restaurants in the area, I picked Iso Bistro to try their Green Vege Salad. It came with lettuce, avocado, couscous and a vegan mayo dressing. It was delicious and completely satisfied my craving. The mayo has a citrus note to it, which provides the acidity needed for the avocado. The couscous was cooked perfectly. I have no complaints. I always like to end on a sweet note and the lemon tart was calling my name. It was divine! The crust was buttery, the curd was silky, and the lemon packed a punch. It took some willpower to stop myself devouring it, but I also wanted to savor every bite. The atmosphere has a date night vibe, but you can still wear casual clothes and it would be fine. Service was friendly and I never had to ask for my water to be refilled. I do suggest making a booking. I was a walk-in requesting a table for one and luckily the lounge area had a small table enough to fit one plate and two glasses.
Had the lamb shoulder and it was delicious. Very tender, table service was extremely good. Lemon tart for dessert topped off a fantastic meal.
