Taberna Avanti - Punta Umbría

Terrible. Don't even think about going there. Overpriced sandwiches (4€ with the cheapest ingredients. They tell you it's toasted but it's not. It's better to eat nothing than here.

45 ' to make a mixed sandwich and 20 ' from when I asked for a beer until I claimed it: the reason for the delay, that they had requested it (opening a beer requires terrible kitchen work). The bar, with about thirty people. The sandwich, cold. The rest of the food normal, but it is not worth the risk. In the photo the filling....

What a scam. Don't even think of stopping for lunch or dinner. We ordered a couple of serranito montaditos and they brought us two fleas with no substance. The thinnest loin steak and the pepper a thin strip. That was drier than the mojama. And the price, to top it off, of each little flea, because that one in Montañita had little, 4 euros. ..a complete robbery.

Treatment and mistreatment. I do not recommend going to this site at all. For a simple breakfast consisting of a coffee with milk and a whole toast with natural oil and tomato, they have charged me 36% more than in other nearby bars. And to my surprise when asking for the price list to make sure they have not made a mistake they tell me that it does not exist but to take into account that I had asked for natural tomato; and then they tell me to take into account that they had to cut the tomato. In view of this, I ask for the claims book and although they give it to me, they do so by hindering me from completing it. And after filling in my part and asking them to fill in their information, they ask me to give them my ticket to write down their address, they don't know it. Of course in the end they have not fulfilled their part. Given my refusal to give them the ticket because I do not trust that they will return it to me because it is strange that they do not know their address and that they do not want to get another ticket where they can see the address even though I have suggested it, they reproach me for my attitude and they end up insulting me. Of course I will never go back. It is a pity that with the number of professionals we have in the hospitality sector, there are people who give this type of treatment to their clients, especially in an area as touristic and with such an impact as Punta Umbría.

The menu is very scarce and I don't want to mention the amount of food, I had to put potatoes in the sandwich to have a little more joy for the bite. For a snack I do not recommend it at all.
