Restaurant bewertenTend to be a tad condescending to customers unless you are there regularly (as in each day not 2-3 times per week). For a café they aren't providing anything different to the many others around the CBD but their Moroccan soup is the best. Maybe they just need a reality check every now and then to remember they are in customer service and that the customer helps keep them afloat.
Just not friendly, not pleases no thank you a no your welcome, but the coffee is nice, oh well what do you do?
Headed into Perth from Mandurah and got off at Underground. Had to go to Perth Arena and walked past this place. Smelt the coffee and doubled back. I wish I could remember the shop that was there in the 80’s cos I think I frequented it often. It had a homey vibe or I had a feeling of “Ive been here before”. There was a lovely selection of food and tables and chairs to sit at. The large windows gave it an openness to it and it felt friendly. I ordered my coffee with almond milk and the price was good. I didn’t get much conversation from the barista as she was a little busy talking to another staff member and not really paying attention to her clients. In saying that, the coffee was so creamy and probably the best coffee I have tasted in a looooooong time. (Beats any coffee in Mandurah- sorry Mandurah). Will def visit again
No butter on the baguettes, despite asking for it, which was very dry. No implements provided. Dirty tables. Would have done better at the Mexican opposite.
I wandered in for the first time, this morning, and received warm welcoming service and fabulous coffee!!! I've now found my new favourite! Thank you, ladies at Tartine!
