Restaurant bewertenI’m gun shy to ever book another hunt at Eagle Lakes Ranch. The videos are euphoric get you excited, but plain simple there weren’t any new birds in the area.It would have been nice to know this before we traveled 760 miles laid down $1400 for two days of hunting. We ended up with 4 birds the first day (3 shooters) 4 birds the 2nd day with four shooters. An option to reschedule would have been nice. The guides Tim Darrell were very nice accommodating. The bird processing was marginal. We wanted to view the ranch club house, but the owner would not allow that because he was hosting his private get together. The blind for the first day was set up real nice comfortable except for the lack of ducks. The blind the 2nd day needed some work sitting on flimsy folding chairs for $350 doesn’t work for me. The blinds are easily accessible as I’m a handicapped Vet.We stayed at the Quality Inn in Othello that was fine for our needs. For evening meals, there’s Mexican place (on every corner) the one we chose was NOT GOOD (serve your own drinks (no cervesa’sThe Brunswick was great with a couple teaming up feeding customers (alcohol drinks available). The Beach House was also very good (American fare Tiffany doing a great job) (full bar).Maybe opening weekend mid December would be more optimal times to spend $350 for a duck hunt that could happen.

Absolutely great experience. My guide Dan was friendly, professional, punctual, displayed a ton of knowledge, and was able to provide a successful hunt. The other guides I met were great as well. Overall impressed with them. Communication from Ryan when booking it was excellent. Answered all my questions.
My dad and I have been fortunate enough to duck hunt all over the states and we have never experienced something so amazing as ELR. They broke their backs to accommodate our crazy logistics. I have never seen a staff work so hard to get all of their clients on birds. We are so grateful to have experienced world class duck hunting and world class people. Whether it’s bringing your family for a unique experience, corporate hunts, or just you and some buddies looking to shoot some birds, Mike and the guys at eagle lakes will most certainly take care of you!
Without question the premiere waterfowl hunting destination in the lower 48 west of Rhode Island and the Atlantic Ocean. I've been fortunate to start my experience with Eagle Lakes Ranch with Tony, Mike and Paul Bernsen R.I.P. back in 1985 and have watched the hard work and dreams of building a 1st class lodge come to fruition. Life changes for everyone but the people stay the same. Multi generations of guides and founders continue to improve and adjust to give anyone the best service and chances of success. The Bernsens and guide family do just that...always with a smile.
