Restaurant bewertenA week before my wife and I decided to make reservations for a date night. When I went online, the latest time was available time a week out 4:30. When we arrived, the restaurant was 90% empty. We thought the people would dive into the time we went, but not really. We asked our server why we could make a later reservation if it was usually emptied. She told us that most people go in and that they only hold a few tables per time slot. I thought there was no availability, but not true. What? The service was good. Our server was professional and personal. The facility is clean and well furnished. The appetizers we ordered were not worth the price. The crab plunge was a little vaccinated and my shells were boiled. Don't you see we're going back?
With a group of friends. Service was very good and drinks were great. I ordered the Scallop Pasta Special for $30. Dish was served without a single whole scallop. It seemed that she used cleverly shredded scallops that no more than 1 whole scallop. These pieces were pure white without saute cooking marks. Everything was simply heated in a pan. Other people in our party noticed that the vegetables and cauliflower pure had little to no taste.
The restaurant was really sweet! It was 4:00 and it wasn't busy. We saw that they had a happy hour, so we asked for a place on the terrace. But a person of my party was on the way, we just wanted to sit and order some drinks while we waited, and they refused to put us. I can understand this during peak times, but during a slow time I was uncertain what rationality is. Hoping to enjoy this restaurant in the future. Make sure you?re whole party is there before they ask for a table.
Great outdoor terrace and beautiful interiors too. Super friendly and accommodating staff and good food, although portions are big? Not that?
Northeast is certainly one of SoDel?s best for excellent seafood, atmosphere inside and professional service. Wine options are great and now serving beer from their brewery down the road. Always busy but worth it. Clams and fish n chips are excellent. (wish they also had key lime pie like Matt?s) Looking forward to next visit.
