Just the best. My favorite coffee house in the world. I moved away, but still the coffee beans sent to my house from the state. I've been here since high school. I love it!

Where's the Beanscene? After 20 years eek! The new owners looked at how it is now called Apollos and... as good or better than the original. Friede can now return to Oak Park, our coffee needs are done and it is not necessary to walk over the parking lot to the dark side. Thanks Apollos for keeping Oak Park authentic. Supports small businesses, especially large small businesses.

This place has been here in Oak Park for many years, but always seeks to improve! Their classic drinks always please, but their small food selection also includes freshly prepared items like waffles and sandwiches. I've always wanted to try to come to their live entertainment and wine bar on Thursday nights.

Bean Scene has been my coffeeshop of choice for working on my laptop for over a year. This place has what we coffeeshop entrepreneurs call the Holy Trinity: ample power outlets, fast wifi, and good coffee. There's always a great crowd especially with music and food truck events on Thursdays.
