Restaurant bewerten Was Emil Sivertsen an The Grande Caffe mag:
Wir mussten unseren Camper früh morgens bei Apollo abgeben und dieses kleine Café ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Kaffee, das Avocado Panini und die Muffins sind köstlich ! Mehr Bewertungen anzeigen.
Visited here on recommendation from a friend. It's a quirky little café made from a shipping container, attached to an "American Pickers" style shop / yard, full of second hand or repurposed things for sale. I love Elixr coffee so that was also a drawcard for me as my friend had told me this was the brand of coffee they served. We arrived at about 9am on a weekday (apparently they open at 5am) and were a little disappointed that there was so little left in the cabinets to choose from. They are directly across the road from the Northgate Rail Station so I guess maybe the early morning commuters cleaned them out? We settled for a toasted bacon, egg and cheese Turkish with coffees. Service was okay (not great, but not bad) and the meals were quick, hot and tasty. As expected, the coffees were fantastic. After eating, we browsed around the second hand store and yard, which had heaps and heaps of fascinating things to look at. The staff in the store were extremely friendly and chatty and we could have bought so many quirky things (still wish we had come home with some of the things we looked at!). Overall it was a pleasant way to spend an hour and a half on a lazy morning - and the coffee is definitely worth going back for!
Have been to this place a handful of times now as it's very close to work. Service is non existent by the one waitress/coffee maker working there. Poor English and zero customer service orientation. The food is consistently average and they are usually out of stock of many items on the menu. Not sure how they are still in business.
No attempt made by waitress to connect or be helpful. Left sitting at table for an unacceptable time unaware of their process. Lured there by promise of water and then abandoned. Ignored by the waitress after complaining. Food was bland, no seasoning, eggs (fried and poached) overcooked. On the other hand the coffees were good.
Came here on a recommendation from a friend who lives locally and were not dissapointed.I had the eggs, bacon & toast which were all done perfectly. My wife had the poached eggs with smoked salmon on Turkish toast, her eggs were slightly overdone but still tasty.Great coffee as well!!
