Cascabel Taqueria West - New York

The portion sizes are small, but the flavors are authentic. The tacos I ordered were classic Mexican tacos, with two small corn tortillas filled with meat and sprinkled with cilantro. I was disappointed by the portion sizes given the price I paid, but considering it's a nice restaurant in an affluent area, I suppose they can get away with it.

Cascabel offers a great alternative to traditional Mexican restaurants. Their focus on gourmet, yet fresh and simple tacos is refreshing, and the menu has enough variety to keep diners coming back. Be sure to try the appetizers and side dishes, as the corn on the cob and guacamole sampler are particularly amazing.
