I was disappointed when I arrived at 7:56 pm on a Tuesday to be told that everything was sold out except 1/2 rack of ribs. I figured it to be against my better judgment, but I took em anyway. Surprise!!! These ribs were the stuff of legend. Expertly trimmed, then seasoned and smoked to perfection over real wood (no pellet-smoker b.s. here). BBQ snobs might find a thing or 2 to gripe about, (call them TOO tender), but I found them to be on a razors edge before fall of the bone, where they can be cut for serving and remain fully intact. This meant a velvety texture, juicy but not greasy, with a balanced sweet, smoky flavor that saw me consume waaay more than I normally do at one time. So good were they that I didn't even think of trying the sauce until the ribs were gone. Good thing I'll be here tomorrow, getting more of these magical St. Louis cut ribs and trying out the other stuff they have. Tip for the wise. They're open from 11 am until they sell out. Get there early.
Passed by a couple times. Finally stopped in. And WOW. Amazing brisket! Beans and potato salad were also amazing. Will be back for sure
Great bbq! The sliced brisket and pulled pork was excellent! And the beans and Coleslaw were great to. You must try this place. Friendly service.
