Charleys Philly Steaks - Modesto

I wouldnt recommend door dash for this place. In person the service and portions is flawless. I ordered a large BACON 3 CHEESESTEAK and a small chicken California. Same exact size. I wont be ordering from here ever again. They also got my drink wrong for the 2nd time in a row.

Doesnt take good is over cooked like burnt to a crisp

The Old School Steak sandwich was incredible! I really enjoyed the cheese and bacon fries, and the lemonade was one of the best I've ever tasted.

I have never had a bad experience with this place until now. The fries were hard and cold, and they tasted like they had been sitting out for hours. The sandwich had very little on it, and the loaded fries were barely loaded at all—just a small squirt of cheese slapped on. The entire meal felt thrown together and disorganized. This was the worst experience I’ve had at this restaurant. The fries were so hard that I thought my teeth might break. They were definitely not fresh. On the bright side, the peach lemonade was the best item I ordered.

First impressions are everything to me, and my experience ordering lunch from here was fantastic. To my surprise, I also ended up with enough leftovers for dinner! The Philly cheesesteak was delicious, loaded with mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions. I opted to have the lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles on the side. The portions are generous; the large size could easily feed two people. I thoroughly enjoyed my sandwich and will definitely order again in the future.
