Restaurant bewertenDear, who comes here with friends for lunch. the menu is simple, but eating is homemade and fresh. service is great.
Well laid out and roomy and quite busy for Friday lunch. Did not eat here but observed when I checked into Merredin Motel. Motel is old fashioned late 1950s style but has been recently and tastefully made over and looks good. Décor features local scenes....Comfortable and clean. Within flat walking distance of the town's pubs and cafes etc. Excellent value for money. However motel is located not all that far from the Transcontinental railway line and the sounds of trains at night may be off putting for light sleepers. For others it is part of the character and charm of being in Merredin.
Went with my husband for a celebration dinner, was very impressed with the dinning area and the initial service, although a quiet week nigh it took a long time for order to arrive. I only had a salad which was lovely and very large my...husband ordered Rack of Lamb expecting a roast like' dinner. However it arrived as a rack of lamb on a bed of Chips. Was very unimpressed especially when it cost so much. Never returned to eat there again.
Clean refurbished restaurant with pleasant staff. Reasonable country style menu and the food was well cooked and presented by helpful waitstaff.
Does not look or feels like a restaurant, but eating is decent with a small selection. are above average. there was an salatable with a good sort. the prices were reasonable. service was friendly and fast. the only negatiw is that it feels like you eat in a kantine. not sure whether the restaurant is open for publicity, or only for the motel guests. it says reservations required, but it was not busy at all (Monday evening.)
