Hooked Island Grill - Matlacha

This is the NEW Hooked. If you know the old hooked, give it another try. The old Hooked had the view with super lack luster food. The new Hooked, same incredible view, but now with a new owner and incredible, creative chef (same person? is so so much better than before. The service is hit or miss, which is why the 4 stars, not 5 (sit a long time without a visit, never get plates/silverware with the appetizers, etc. but super friendly and kind . This is our weekly spot by boat or car and we are so excited about the new menu and the possible new deck!

Great food, cold beer, relaxed place, great service and beautiful sunsets. What could be better?

Our favorite place in Matlacha. There is no other place. They are warmly welcomed by staff directly to the entrepreneurs Barbara and Scott. You have a wide selection of menu, icluding cocktails, and the food, just excellent!!! I recommend the Broasted Pine Island Chicken!!! And not least the sunset. There is nothing like that in the Matlacha above all the view from their outside area. Everyone could just sit there for hours and everything in!!!

We are from the area of Cape Harbor about 20 to 30 minutes away, but good the ride we came across the breakfast buffet and love it great food and a look at the diet.... can not wait to come back and get a few lunch and dinners

I can't say enough good things about this place. Food, service, music all very well. Sunsets are fabulous! In any case, this place must give an attempt. It's worth it!
