Cox Cafe - Macon

Food was excellent; fresh and tasty. Entire staff was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is homey with local working folk coming in for lunch. You gotta try the lace cornbread. Slap-yo-mama good!

The staff is always friendly here. Their fried chicken, so good. And they are the only place in Macon that has fried corn bread. Not a hoe cake, fried corn bread. The cabbage could have used a bit more flavor. It could seem a bit sketchy at first but the food is worth it.

The very best food I have ever had. The beef tips are to die for. And everything else is amazing. I love the fried corn bread. Delicious Please open more restaurants in Macon,Peach county and Houston co

I've lived here 24 years. Today I tried Cox for the first time and I was impressed. Keep up the good work y'all

Had the meatloaf, green beans, fried cornbread, okra and banana pudding, everything was great, would definitely come back.
