Donuts Plus - Lavallette

This is how we were handed our frosted donuts. Completely stuck together. When we pulled them apart neither were appetizing. Had a wet cakey texture and an odd spice aftertaste.

3 1/2 stars At approximately 6AM this past Sunday, I discovered that the beach house I was staying at had very suspicious expired coffee that tasted like rump. Enter Donuts Plus, the only establishment within 20 blocks that was open and brewing some joe. I walked over and discovered a very cute little red building with almost a bodega feel inside. You're not getting a latte here you're pouring your own coffee, and it probably doesn't have a flavor other than

Food: 5 Service: 5 Vibe: 4.8 Tip: Stop by Donut Plus before or after catching the sunrise on the nearby boardwalk! Honestly, a very mediocre donut spot in the neighborhood. cash only and very limited parking i had to drive around for about 15 minutes before even finding somewhere to park because it?s near a bunch of private residential roads with no street parking. was very underwhelmed by their donuts, unfortunately

Tasty donuts and savory breakfast sandwiches! I would've given 5 stars except this is the only cash-only business I visit regularly. Even the ice cream trucks in Lavallette take phone-based payments now. I'm not a fan of carrying cash.
