Vlachos Tavern - Larnaca

Wonderful traditional restaurant! this was recommended to us by the owner of our apartment and it was a really good choice! we tried their meze that was delicious and also other traditional dishes from cypri! the waiters were very friendly and tried to accredit us to the best wise! we would like to come back!

This is an amazing local family owned and managed restaurant that is a secret jewel and jewel of this opposite. authentic, real, local, uncompromising Cypriot food, very well made. because the famy that also manage them run and serve in the restaurant, there is the care and proud of the family running through all asspects of cooking and service. they can say that this is more than a commercial venture, it is history family and local cuisine and culture all packed into the experience. there is a parking lot, should they drive or take a taxi. it is not too far from the main shops or restaurants and the additional 5 minutes to foot if they stay close. the tables and the setting is good with much space between the tables and they can choose to be in the back or side area or in the main area with stage and band and tension. so it fits all tastes from exyrowwrtt to bystanding introvert. the restaurant has extensive and deep connections to the local community so that when they arrive, they go into a community that is really happy and family oriented. eating is amazing! well cooked, a great selection of dressed, local dishes are available. it is worth asking the waiter and the team what they have for their needs and taste. they have the conversation before ordering and then take the recommendation! we had the meze and it is a lot of food! overwhelming quantities and that was amazing! the ability to experience such a great selection of things was excellent. we couldn't finish it, but we could get other dishes again. the meat was fantastic, the dishes were varied, dancing and singing was great, we didn't join us, but it was so good to enjoy others who are happy. brilliant brilliant brilliant. I will return. (maybe again this week)

Come to vlachos to feel like home! the personal is really nice and will take care of them. the portions are generous. they give them a starter of pitta, rice, olive and salat on the house. the lamm kleftiko is one of the best, highly recommended! the waitress brought an obsess, even on the house!

Big, generous portions of delicious local food. Highly recommended if you're after amazing Cypriot food at a very reasonable price. The meze dips are such good value and come with lots of little extras. Well worth it!
