Muya Restaurant - Kitchener

We went there for Sunday lunch. It has absolutely welcoming staff and great authentic food. Will definitely go again.

This is some of the best Ethiopian food we've had outside of Ethiopia. The shiro wat and special kitfo are superb with excellent injera! Thank you for this wonderful taste of one of our favourite cuisines. If you haven't yet tried Ethiopian food, this would be a great place to start.

The owner was surprised to see "Canadian" in her restaurant for some reason. The food is affordable, yummy and definitely worth the try.

A friend invited me for lunch here. Do not let the strip mall location turn you away. This is is small place with simple decor but the food is some of the most authentic Ethiopian I have eaten. We had the chicken and a side of lentil. The chicken came with a whole egg. Both came with injera bread. What set this place apart is the use of authentic spices. Food seems slow cooked with a depth of flavour that only comes by using quality ingredients and deep understanding. Well done. I will be back.

The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The people were friendly and helpful when it came to choosing our meals - none of our group had much experience with Ethiopian food. We'll be back!
