Ta Mezedakia - Katerini

We stopped for lunch after a hike at Olympus. Host was extremely friendly and talkative. She also gave us beach recommendations! I am a native Greek and I can assure you this food is authentic, fresh and delicious! Try with good retsina (dry Greek white wine) it’s heavenly! My son had loukaniko (sausage) and I had the garides saganaki (shrimp with cheese) and htapodi (grilled octopus). Amazing!!!

We started with fresh nice french fries, the most PERFECT handmade cheeseburger I've ever eaten, top chicken and dreamy pumpkin meatballs! Not to forget the wonderful dolmades!! A little bigger portion on these guys, they were so perfect we wanted more!! Honest in both prices and portions! Nice location! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
