Cafe Ginger - Houston

Lovely dinner at Cafe Ginger. Attentive but private service from Kalliae this evening. Delicious food Sesame chicken, Eggplant chicken, fried pork and vegetable dumplings) . Nice atmosphere for holidays and music at perfect dining level and appropriate to upscale dining. From arrival to departure you are certainly made to feel welcome and this has become our new upscale Chinese restaurant after years at Kams in Montrose. Sadly Kams is no more but a new chapter at Cafe Ginger is off to a delightful start.

Sushi roll lunch special tasted off today (i.e., not fresh). That's a shame...used to be a reliable place for fresh sushi.

One of our favorite’Go To’ places when we want to be sure to have a great meal with great service. We had family in for Thanksgiving and no doubt which restaurant to go after the big ‘turkey day’. You won’t get surprised at Cafe Ginger😃

Wonderful place for good food and conversation. Happy hour prices for sushi and appetizers are great. We are repeat customers.

Have been there several times and food was always consistently good. A little pricey for Chinese food, but it’s so much easier than driving to Chinatown. Nice decor and ambience!
