The first time to eat here today! Awesome ribs (our favorite way, so they practically fall from the bone, gooey half-sweet sauce was looked up during cooking, not only added almost as an afterthought), generous portions of wonderful potato salad and perfect “al a dente” textured beans. Super helpful and friendly waiting staff, although we showed up during a whole house and the people come by to get orders. We felt personally “at home” and welcome when the owner came personally to check us out. The decor is a perfect example for southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana. Love of our land and God. Mixture of patriotism, stand for our first and second amendments, the Ten Commandments, various Christian quotes and some humorous things. I look forward to trying the cake!
