Restaurant bewertenI ordered takeout and it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to arrive, and it was cold when it did. I understand it was a Saturday night, but that was still too long. I reheated it in the microwave with no issues, but unfortunately the food was tasteless and bland. The Paratha was doughy and not flaky at all. I didn't end up eating it, so it was a waste of money at £36. I won't be ordering from there again.
I live behind Chutney Blue and the aroma coming from the restaurant is incredible. I love to sit in my garden and enjoy the delicious scent of the food.
I should have gone to Wetherspoons. I ordered chicken Korma and chicken tikka masala. The korma was bland with not enough cream, and the tikka tasted like eating chicken in a can of condensed tomato soup. The staff were ignorant and unhelpful. I will not be returning. If you want a curry, you can get a better one from Asda, and that's saying something.
Lovely meal at Chutney Blue this evening. Although the restaurant area is small, there was a nice atmosphere. We had the 'special ' 4 courses plus rice and naan. Great value and tasty food.
AVOID!!!!!! The worst curry I have ever had! Didn't help that it took 1 hour and 40 minutes to come and it was freezing. Spice of India down the road is 100% better and would recommend.
