Restaurant bewerten Was Eula Cronin an Garçon mag:
Impromptu decision to have breakfast here after our early weekly market visit. We were on our way home when hubs said let's go to check out the Tramsheds. I absolutely loved the avo with a twist: avocado and soft eggs on Dust Bakery sourdough with finely grated cheese all over the top, togarashi, and feta. Hubs equally loved the poached salmon with scrambled eggs and pickled green tomato. Coffee is my Little Marionette which is a fave of mine, and one you don't see that often in cafes from my experience; or perhaps not in the areas I usually frequent. Now to the space itself. Love the decor however it was incredibly cold even with the little Dyson heater at my feet, and the complementary blankets. The tables are too high or the big step seating area on either side of the area behind the front bar is too low and it is impossible to sit on them and use the table. Other than that loved place and I would definitely come back to try the crumpets
Great food and friendly service. It was jam packed on a Sunday afternoon and we had a half hour wait which was worth it when we finally had the food. We had a few mix ups on our table but mistake were quickly rectified. Will return again. Food: 4.5 Ambience: 4.0 Service: 3.0 VFM: 4.0
Definitely have found my new brunch spot! Not only is the coffee great, but I was pleasantly surprised by the garçon blend tea and how it complemented the surprisingly intense flavours from each dish. I loved the avo smash with a twist, thanks to the togarashi. The croque madame was packed with more flavour than the classic ham and cheese toastie, giving its French ancestry justice. The crumpets were scrumptious and sweet to mellow all the flavours. We found the perfect little spot tucked away on the side of the shop, giving that Parisian street feel. Overall, I was really surprised by the quality of the food, the flavour, the ambience and the layout; I will definitely be returning, hungry for more.
Good food, lovely space, friendly staff. Breakfast to die for. Great coffee. Blackstar pastries. Must try the salmon and green tomatoes on scrambled eggs.
Such a lovely quaint spot. You definitely feel removed from the hustle of Sydney. I enjoy the large island kitchen and the light wood interior. There isn't a lot of seating. The coffee was probably the best I have had in Sydney. Smooth, strong, hot and creamy. I chose the chia and black rice pudding and it was beautiful. So light and fresh and just the right amount of sweetness. My friend had the Avi and eggs on toast which looked delicious. I would come back, especially to try the crumpets ;) Staff were super friendly!
