Shady Tree Pub - Garibaldi Highlands

Just off Highway 99. Eclectic interior. Exceptional service from Hayley and Angie the bartender. We had beef dip sandwich which had lots of meat and good sauce. Fish chips with a light , crispy batter. The fries have a coating which makes them crispy and tasty. Was a pleasure to eat here. We will be back on our next camping trip! Thanks ladies.

This place has reopened. Average pub food. A bit disappointed as I looked online and saw the menu. Went for the weekend roast beef plate. Don't have it. Sad. Had burger instead. A bit of a letdown. Seems they have not updated the online menu I read, so don't go by that. Service was great.

Sadly the food has gone downhill lately and for some strange reason they have started putting it on boards instead of plates so it goes all over the table when you try to eat it. Very sad

We liked the views from the big windows inside. The service was slow, inattentive and not friendly. The food was extremely average. Nothing was overly fresh or homemade tasting.

After 2 years they are back. Normally a popular spot would do a soft opening after that long of a hiatus. Not the shady tree they blasted it on Facebook for Saturday night relaunch on fight night. I got there at 7pm and it was packed. Despite the staff being absolutely swamped they kept it together. I want to give a special shout out to Stacey, she did a fantastic job of taking care of guests while they waited to order. The food was great (finally a place is Squamish that actually does good wings) and the service was good all things considered. Defo will be back
