Log Cabin - GALENA

All about our experience here was amazing. They were able to us on the last minute, the bar staff made an excellent old fashion, our server Adam was amazing, and the food was top Notch. What makes this place special is that I can imagine that my grandparents go to a place like this for fine food. And it has an “old school” mood, yet still feels up-to-date, welcoming and still extremely relevant in today’s world. I'd like to come back to dinner at Log Cabin. Our experience on Saturday was my favorite of 2021. Thank you for everything!

Just one of the best culinary experiences of my life. From the atmosphere, to the service, to the food, Log Cabin is FANTASTIC! Thanks Dino and staff. The 10 oz Filet Mignon could be the best steak dish anywhere! The Saganaki was delicious. The best restaurant in Galena, OPA.

Ordered the ribs and my wife had the lamb chops. Food was excellent! Meat fell off the bone… cocktails and dessert was equally impressive. The waiter was on point with recommendations…. The service was fast but not hurried. food came out quickly and was hot. I really refrain from giving 5 star reviews but there was absolutely nothing to fault. A solid reason to plan a getaway and visit Galena.

Took us several phone calls, two nights and a 4:30 pm arrival to finally get in I don't take no for an answer very well. It was worth it! Only issue is they kept saying that outside seating was full all tables had reserved signs on them but never a patron in sight. I think it was too hot for the wait staff but they should have been honest. The waiter (Don Americanized version of his name Dahan) was OUTSTANDING. He took a great meal and turned it into an event. He was always there to fill a wine glass and to crack a joke. All four of us could not say enough great things about him!!! We had amazing steaks, prime rib and the boys had the Greek fries, which they loved. Friends shared the Brandy Alexander which was the size of his head! Definite must do on your travels don't let the old exterior scare you off. Worth the work to get in there!

Super fun atmosphere great food! We had the beef kabob greek style pork chops, both meals were delicious. Service was great too!
