Restaurant bewertenAbsolutely never go here. I am a local, I support local, even when our tourist are here. I am also a former business owner. We sat down and ordered coffee to start and my wife?s coffee mug had fresh lipstick on it ?.my wife doesn?t wear lipstick.Obviously this cup was not washed from the previous customer. The waitress rudely just said that sometimes the dishwasher can?tget it off. I showed her how I could run my finger through it because it was so fresh. She didn?t apologize just walked in theback. So out comes manager guy, obviously he had been tipped off about the situation, and asks us if we have a question. I saidno, and then told him what I had told the waitress. He gives me the same dishwasher story but with my aggression and attitude.Again didn?t apologize, and just angry asked if he can get us something else. I said no, I want to know why you don?t cleanyour dishes. He ignored me and now almost shouting at me asked if he could get us something else. I said maybe we?ll just gosomewhere else and he responded with good and stormed away. Now, I would have been fine with this lipstick situation if someonewould have owned it and simply apologized. But apparently that is too much to ask. So, now I will tell everyone I know aboutthis and only hope that the customer service gets better because no one deserves to be treated like that. Or it can close. I?dbe fine with that too.
This is a great spot for lunch. The staff were very nice. The chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun was tasty. We also had a salad, which was decent. It wasn't anything extraordinary, but it satisfied our hunger and we were able to continue shopping.
We are visiting Galena for the first time and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast at this restaurant! I opted for gluten free toast instead of their breakfast croissant sandwich and it was incredibly tasty. The service was pleasant and we only had to wait around 10-15 minutes at 10am on a Saturday. We would definitely return here in the future!
I would give this restaurant 0 stars if I could. I have never written a review before, especially a negative one. When we arrived, no one greeted us. Despite our party of five wanting to wait for a table, we were sat at the bar stools. The server was extremely rude and spoke to us as if we were an inconvenience. She slammed down the silverware and took our drink order before we even had a chance to look at the menus. The customer service was terrible. When a table opened up, we asked to be moved, but another server refused, claiming it was too much trouble. There were no other parties waiting for tables. My mother stood by the table to wait, prompting the server to yell at a busser to clear it for us to move. I don't understand what the issue was. We would have left, but my grandmother had difficulty walking and needed to sit down. The food was mediocre, nothing to rave about. Our check was brought to us just 10 minutes after our food arrived. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. The servers lacked sincerity. Save your money and dine elsewhere.
We had a lovely breakfast here over our minimoon in Galena. The tables could be slightly spread out better for social distancing but we felt safe. The food was delicious and the service was very attentive.
