Restaurant bewertenAn interesting find in middle of Eltham, you're dining at a place called Hamlet's which is a anagram of the suburb name 'Eltham(s)' Apparently this
!This place used to be brilliant, but now the food is oily and boring. The service is so slow & inattentive and it's really not worth going there. We'll stay home for pizza now that Eltham has lost it's only good wood fired pizza place.
Went to Hamlets with a group of friends. We were greeted at the door by friendly staff and shown to our table. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded so we were able to hear ourselves speak. The food was great and reasonably priced. The staff were attentive and social. We had a great night and will certainly go back there again.
Booked a family dinner night out for 7 people, the restaurant, was very quite with only 4 other tables occupied,so you would expect good service ,as there was 2 waitress's on ,not so we ordered drinks and presto bread for starters that took 15 minutes to be served ,it them took 52 minutes, for our mains, our drink glass's sat empty on the table for 30 minutes, while the 2 waitress discussed their social life, not once checking if if we wanted more drinks or to let us know why our meal was taking so long,we had to raise our hands and gesture to them to come over ,that was the only way we got any service, when the meals eventually came out it was disappointing, the pizza was good the rest below par,I had spaghetti marinara, there was not much marinara mainly spaghetti ,it was very oily did not enjoy at all, same with the lasagne.
The pizza is amazing Always cooked to perfection Great value and location is easy Good atmosphere, feels like you are in someone's home (: Pasta is a let down though, should be better for the cost
