Weiterlesen I 've wanted to visit this restaurant for quite some time but it is a four hour drive from Leeds. So, when we had the opportunity of a few days in Balmoral with family it presented the ideal opportunity to make this a priority on the way back via Edinburgh. We booked for a Friday lunchtime on the basis that it provided a broad opportunity to order A La Carte, the tasting menu, which we not great fans off generally, or the lunchtime set menu. We opted for the lunchtime menu and wine flight. It turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we 've had for a while and we 've eaten in other Michelin star restaurants. Loved the ambiance from the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left. It was a delight to meet Tom Kitchen when he greeted all the diners at their table and it was good to see the name above the door actually running the pass. The food was exceptional as was the wine pairing, service was impeccable, efficient, friendly and relaxed... loved every mouthful and minute. Well worth the visit and would love to return!
