Knowles Restaurant - Dunnville

Small restaurant in a small town . Pricing is a little higher than you would expect and quality is average at best .

First visit here in quite a while (there are many restaurants to choose from in our little town) and, unfortunately, we won't be rushing back any time soon. It's a long-time establishment but it is in need of some work to brighten up the dark surroundings. It looks tired and old (not in a good way). The highchair we used wasn't the cleanest thing I've ever seen and the tray mechanism is broken. No one seemed to care that we were struggling to secure our little one in it. The server could have been friendlier. One saving grace is that the food was good.Attention to detail would really help.

Good service. Friendly. Step back in time decor. Good prices. The milkshake was the equivalent of two! Muffins are fresh and homemade. Meals going to others looked good. Value for your money. Good location.

Right at the main intersection downtown, the restaurant has a small front but there is plenty of seating as it runs deep. Settle your bill with cash only. A number of daily specials at reasonable prices with modest sized portions of basic food. The service is friendly and fast. The washrooms are tiny. The tin ceiling is rather impressive.

Where is the beginning. we thought in dunnville for the parade and decided to have breakfast, this place with the whole day breakfast we visited in just one server and not too many people in so waiting time was satisfactory, but when eating. the only hot thing was the teller the food itself was warm too cold. Week later we decided to give them a second chance. {a big mistake} this time there was server and after the order of our breakfast we had to wait a completely unexcepted minute and again the tellers were very warm and eating was cold. the other thing that we noticed was the server were quick with the coffee and refill but watch both of them, as they clean table and then collect hygiene the cutlery and take them back into the kitchen area then come back on clean talks and at no time saw them wash there the other totally unacceptable cache was the server that customers would ever abandon the worn two mains
