Restaurant bewertenThe tofu vegetables were delicious, but the Laab salad was overwhelming and very blanching. They had a good choice overall! And good service
To call this restaurant, Thai, is stretching it a bit, however the food was tasty, if not real traditional. The curry was ordered to be Thai hot and the spice was barely noticeable it had too much coconut cream we had to ask for more spice and they brought cayenne pepper and chili powder . The Tofu Vegetable dish was nice and spicy and the vegetables fresh and plenty. The vegan Pad Thai was also very tasty. We loved the peanut sauce and spring rolls. Items were marked on the menu GF or V and the legend stated can be made gluten free and/or vegan , so you need to ask to ensure. The server seemed a bit put off when asked if the dish was vegan asked me do you see any item listed that wasn 't vegan? I asked about whether the sauce had fish sauce in it, which isn 't listed on the menu. But other than this, the server was very friendly and responsive to our needs. The restaurant was very noisy really hard to have a conversation. Pricey as you 'd expect in a touristy foo foo restaurant. But the pickings are slim in this part of the country so we really appreciated the vegan fare and enjoyed ourselves. We 'd go again.
We had Veggie and Tofu Rice. We ordered brown rice for a charge, but another server came out and told us that brown rice is not vegan. You put butter. Seems strange and unnecessary, but I really appreciate them to let us know. We had white rice, and there were many crispy, delicious vegetables and tofu boiled just right. We spend at least 12 weekends a year in Driggs, and we don't leave town without stopping at Teton Thai for a meal. We have never been disappointed with the food or the service. I tend to order curry dishes, soups, and salads; my husband orders noodle dishes and Thai vegetables over brown rice, and our adult children love the sushi. On a scale of zero to five, customers can choose the heat level of their orders, and the kitchen staff get it right. The waitresses are well-trained and friendly, and they don't balk at special requests . The restaurant gets crowded on weekends, so it is wise to make reservations in advance. There are often groups of people and families with young children, so the atmosphere can become rather bustling, without becoming overly loud. We've never been disturbed by rowdy groups or children. We find the atmosphere comfortable and friendly.
Better wine selection would be great. At least a couple higher end varieties.
