Restaurant bewertenIt's an old old place. Menu not too bad, but not to brag about. I ordered a fried flounder thinking that I'll have something looking like a nice fresh cut of fish. I was wrong, I was served with fried fish the likes of those you get from fast food restaurants or frozen fish fillets from your local grocery.
Have gone there on Holdays a number of times. Food is good. The problem is that if you're not a regular your stuck in the bar area. The booths are horrible and should be replaced very uncomfortable. The people are very friendly especially the bar tender. Parking is rough. This place is not handicaped excessive. The food I had for Easter was good but when I got home thru up.The pastry was not told it was soaked in alcohol. I don't plan to go back there again
My husband and I had a wonderful meal tonight. The ambience is so cozy. Our waitress Kathy was so wonderful. We had a great meal and experience. Food was delicious.
My wife and I joined my son and daughter-in-law for dinner. They told us how good the food is and we wanted to try it ourselves. It was a great experience! The service was prompt and professional throughout our meal, given it was Saturday evening with a full dining room, we never had to ask for anything. Great cocktails to entice the taste buds, I recommend the Pamplemouse cocktail. Now the best part, the food! For appetizers, the clams and seafood salad were really good, the clams tasted like they came out the sea moments ago. The entrees were amazing, simple and delicious! The Chicken Salvatore was so good, the cherry peppers, garlic and onions were in perfect balance. Even though it’s almost an hour from our house, it’s worth the travel!
The place looks like it was stuck in the 70's but I mean that in a really good way. The waitress are great. I almost feel like it's my, or a friend's, mom that serves you. Always friendly. Food is good. Not fantastic but also never bad. Reasonable prices in today's world. Try the garlic shrimp appetizer.
