The Jackdaw - Dover

We haven't been in jackdaw inn for 4 years but always had a nice meal before. When we turned up had a nice greeting from the staff. We waited at the bar it would be nice if the fire was on as it felt cold and dark. We ordered starters and mains. It was ok. It wasn't wow like I said 4 years ago. Pork belly was tough and chewy. And burger on dry side. The cheese crocket wasn't fried enough. We won't be coming back sadly Price per person: £20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Visit 1: Had the pork tenderloin with roast potatoes, super tasty! Visit 2: Had the duck parfait to start, followed by the Cumberland sausage ring. Both meals were delicious. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Bangers and Mash
