Restaurant bewertenWe like Campanile Hotels for their on-site restaurant that offers a hors-d'oeuves (or entrées) buffet and a dessert buffet in addition to daily cooked-meal specials etc. My wife, a vegetarian, finds the mainly-salads entrees buffet enough in the evening especially in summertime when it is warm to hot outdoors. I ordered a barbeque chicken skewer (2) and entrees buffet. This hotel's selections were a bit less-generous than some others (no smoked salmon; the proscuttio was skimpy) but when we requested they "freshen up" the meat board, they did so within minutes (a big improvement). They have Perrier fines bulles bottles water - which I recommend - much nicer than San Pelligreno that one finds elsewhere... The dessert buffet looked find too. The staff was attentive and welcoming but English is NOT their main language and sometimes communication can be a bit chancy... Still, for a reasonable price (by French standards - all food is 25% more here than in Arizona), without having to move our car (I liked that!) we had a decent summer evening meal that allowed us to sleep comfortably and well.
Just on the edge of the Jura range, this hotel is on the edge of a beautiful little town. The hotel itself is quite basic but offers good food and a friendly french welcome. Close to lots of shops and a few restaurants.
Usual high standard of Campanile quisine. Good varied menu in pleasant surroundings , the food looked good and was good value
