Restaurant bewertenMet friends for dinner here while I was in the area. Adorable place with some very neat seating and the original vault from the bank still in place! Calamari was perfectly crunchy on the outside and not overcooked. Zuppa di pesce was delicious and a hugeplatter. Would definitely return
We went here for the paranormal dinner and tour its an old bank from the 1960's which became it's first restaurant around the 1970,s it was called the Birmingham restaurant then another owner took over changed the name. And now the owner Mike has had itfor the last 16yrs and it has been the Twisted vine restaurant since. With lots and lots of exciting history and haunted storiesand paranormal activities since day one. You can buy tickets online for many different things and events they have. Or just gofor a very very tasty dinner. With amazing service very welcoming and polite staff. And an unbelievable atmosphere and decor.Awesome evening we had an will 100% be going back.
In the area for business, I googled haunted restaurants in Connecticut for something fun to do in the evening. I was not disappointed by my paranormal findings nor with the food or service! The tortellini was amazing and I highly recommend it to pasta lovers. Dave shared some of the haunted history of the building and some of his own personal experiences as well, which I thoroughly enjoyed hearing about. I also got some great orb photos as a souvenir for my trip to CT! I’ve been telling everyone about my experience here and will definitely return next time I’m in the area.
I once found this restaurant on a whim and have made the hour drive twice to go back and take family and friends. The chicken parm is a must! And the fried mozzarella appetizer. Extremely generous portions.
We love this place! The food is to die for , so many mouth watering choices and huge portions! We enjoyed the nachos, stuffed shrooms Chicken Parm, Chicken Alana , Chicken ala Vodka and Spicy Chicken with penne , to name a few. We were there Friday listening to my daughter , Tori, play guitar and sing downstairs and we had a big group with us. Every person loved their food and will be coming again. Also, the owner , Mike, is so kind , a class act and the people that work there bend over backwards making sure everyone is comfortable and have what they need. Amy and Lily greeted us with friendliness and warmth and that demeanor continued through the three plus hours we were there. Thank you Twisted Vine for such a fun and delicious evening ! Can’t wait to be back !
