Restaurant bewertenGreat food and drink. The wait staff were super, but for some reason our main dish was delayed, causing the wait staff to apologize a couple times.
Davio's has been a favorite of mine for 20+ years. I like the Boston location as well as Lynnfield. I've never had a mediocre menu item or drink.
Food portions were less than expected, especially for the price (entrees are mostly ala carte). For instance, crab cakes (2) were $58 and came did not come with any sides. Service was average. Restaurant was comfortable and not noisy.
The food was good, we had oysters which were great, the noqui was standard and lobster risotto was great and the meat was good. The dessert was great. The food could have been better but the service was not good at all. Took a long time for our waitress to get to the table, the water and bread came 15min before our waitress showed up. We put the order in and for the oysters and spring roll it took at least 30min to get, our waitress was attending another table but she didn't even ask us if everything was OK. We finished with appetizers and took another 30 min to get the main course, waitress finally appeared and I was able to get another drink. We finished main course and kept on waiting for the waitress to show up, while she was chatting close to the bar with another waitress, we had to tell the water guy to call the waitress and don't ignored us. Overall the food was good but the service for a high end restaurant was very poor.
Food, drinks and service was excellent. Really a beautiful and classy restaurant. Would definitely visit again when in Boston. Our friends from California really enjoyed too!
