Newfound Sushi - Corner Brook

After reading an article about the best restaurants in Canada, Newfound Sushi was rated one of the best so, I figured if I returned to Corner Brook, I

Awesome staff that's passionate about their sushi and offerings I had a cod slider to start which was incredible.

So after all the hype, even a recommendation from friends who were here last summer, we made an attempt and were denied, even after calling and being told there was lots of room for walk-ins. So, we booked a table for the next day. There was no wait, as we were there for a late lunch. But the food was an utter let-down. Rice falling apart, small portions, very high prices, thin strips of too-warm sashimi, items missing from our order that never arrived ... too many things added up to make this an unremarkable meal.

The food is fantastic! Sometimes the wait is a little long, but the food is NEVER disappointing. My only wish is that they had a bigger spot, sometimes you feel a little cramped/crowded. Again, food is fantastic

My daughter, her boyfriend and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Newfound Sushi! We enjoyed vegetable and shrimp tempura, gyoza and bento boxes (chicken and salmon). Everything was fresh and delicious! Staff were attentive and helpful. A must do when visiting Corner Brook!
